Hop & Barley Volume 04, ready for the launch
On Saturday, May 9th, we hosted the launch of Vol. 4 of Hop & Barley magazine as part of the very first Leeds Indie Food! On the night there was food & drink from Northern Monk and Bundobust, who both appeared in the magazine's special feature on the Leeds' beer scene!
Artist Beer Visions (ABV) exhibition
As well as launching the magazine we were also exhibiting 'Artist Beer Visions (ABV)', an amazing collaborative project which featured fictional beer label art dreamt up and printed by the good folks at 3rd Rail Clothing. The 20 screen-prints, which hung on the diagonal, included work from Drew Millward (whose Dust show had only just left the space), Tom J Newell and Kristyna Baczynski.

People turned up in their droves to pick up an advance copy of the magazine (and chat with the founders, Mike, Simon and Nick), check out the artwork, whet their whistles on Northern Monk's Rhubarb and Rosemary Blossom IPA and chow down on Bundo's legendary Popcorn & Pops.

After the launch the exhibition was split across both our site and Northern Monk's Refectory - so Andy had the joy of hanging those framed prints once again...
